Another busy week has flown by at Worsley Bridge! 5W had the very challenging task of being the first class to showcase their learning in assembly but despite having very little time to rehearse they put on a fantastic performance!

We were all very impressed by how much they had learnt about Victorian Britain in such a short space of time.

Well done 5W.

On Wednesday it was lovely to welcome so many families into school for our first open morning of the year. At the session we looked at some key aspects of school life and discussed how policies such as behaviour are put into action in the classroom. Families then had the opportunity to look round school and go into classrooms. The feedback we received was very positive so we shall look at setting a date for another one later in the year.

As the term progresses we will be providing school tours for prospective parents looking for places in reception for the academic year 2019-2020. To help promote school we will be hosting a stall at the Market on the Green (opposite Marks and Spencer) on Saturday. We will be there between 10am and 3pm and would love it if you could pop by to say hello or even help by talking to families about life at Worsley Bridge.

Wishing you all a very enjoyable weekend.
