Thank you to the family members who braved the pouring rain to join us for our art exhibition. I think you will agree that we have some very talented artists here at Worsley Bridge!

It was wonderful to share the event with over 200 members of our school community-I am sure you will join me in thanking Mrs Bartlett, Mr Abrahams, the class teachers and TAs for all their hard work in planning and delivering such a lovely week for the children.

As well as working hard in art this week children in year 5 and 6 participated in our annual Restart the Heart day where they learned how to perform CPR. This fantastic morning teaches our children a valuable life-saving skill.

We’d like to thank Norman and his St John’s ambulance team for their time and expertise. He was very complimentary about our children and has already booked to come back again next year!

On Monday children in Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 participated in circus workshops as the ring master from the Big Top returned to Worsley Bridge. The children juggled scarves, spun plates and had a great time imagining what it would be like to perform to the crowds attending the circus!

As another busy half term comes to an end I shall finish this letter by thanking you all for your continued support and wish you a safe and happy half term. We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 29th October.
