A very popular club this term is Health Club run by Mrs Dalton-Smith and Miss Hicks. Each week the children look at an aspect of keeping healthy and this week the children had the opportunity to look at how food contributes to a healthy life style. You can see from the photograph that the children had an interesting session tasting different fruits and the teachers were very impressed at their willingness to try fruits they hadn’t eaten before!

Some of you may remember that last year children in year 3 participated in Steve McQueen’s Year 3 portrait project which involved a team of photographers capturing pictures of year 3 classes right across London. The exhibition is now open at the Tate Britain and we are part of the project. Those of you that travel by train regularly will have seen billboards featuring other year 3 classes. If you are out and about keep your eyes peeled for Worsley Bridge as we do not know where we may appear! More details can be found via this link.https://www.anewdirection.org.uk/steve-mcqueen-year-3

Just before I sign off I have been asked to remind parents to label lunch boxes. Children are regularly getting their lunches muddled with their friends because they have the same lunch bag or box. Please help us by adding a label!
