On the gate this morning I saw Gracie arriving carrying two very long ‘pig tails’. She very quickly explained that she had decided to cut her hair shorter so that she could donate it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that make wigs for children who have suffered hair loss from illnesses such as cancer. Now that the hair has been cut Gracie has to contact the charity so they can send a collection bag for her wonderful donation. We are really proud of you Gracie, your hair will help to make someone feel happier and more confident while they recover from their illness.

Bromley Food Bank have been in contact and we will continue to support this wonderful organisation. As we approach Harvest Festival we will be asking for donations to send to the centre. This year we are a MEAT school. This means we will be asking for items such as tinned stewed steak, meatballs, hotdogs, chicken and meat pies as well as cold tinned meats. We will let you know when we are collecting but thought the early warning would give you the opportunity to put an extra tin or two into your shopping trolley.

The sun looks set to shine this week so make the most of it. Wishing you an enjoyable weekend.
