You may remember that we recently held our school council elections. This week I hosted my first meeting with the new team using zoom!

The children’s conduct throughout the meeting was excellent and we spent time discussing the school’s positive behaviour policy and reward systems. The children will be consulting with their classes about how we can celebrate when a class completes a week where everyone remains on green or above and how we can help silver cards move to gold!

As we approach Christmas we are a little bit worried about the number of scooters and bikes that are being left over night at school. Although we staff the playgrounds until the gates close we can not guarentee that property will be safe over night. Please can we urge you to collect all items before the end of term. Any unclaimed scooters and bikes will be donated to charity.

Before I sign off and let you enjoy reading who received our celebration certificates, I would like to thank you all on behalf of the British Legion Poppy Appeal. Worsley Bridge raised a very impressive £677.22. I must thank the VIPs in particular as they took repsonsibilty for the collection.
