Mrs Swain, Mrs Foley and 5W took a trip to the Portrait Gallery last week to support their work on the Victorians. The children were very excited about eating lunch in front of the pigeons in Trafalgar Square. Kian liked drawing the marble bust with the white crayon on black paper and Millie enjoyed looking at the Victorian portraits.

Paige really liked the detail and the brush strokes in the picture of the young Queen Victoria and Conor and Lily were interested in seeing the different techniques the artists used, especially the brush strokes on Ed Sheran’s beard-although I’m not quite sure how he fitted into the day!
