Dear Parents and Carers
It is always lovely to begin a Friday with a celebration assembly. The teachers and teaching assistants are finding it harder and harder to select just 2 children from each class as they can see that so many children have made great progress since the beginning of the year! Very well done to all the children listed below for their great achievements!
Miss Rabbatts kindly emailed this week because a number of girls took part in a cheer leading show and I thought I would share her message with you all:
“I am writing to congratulate the Worsley Bridge Wildcats cheerleading performance on Saturday at the CLA Showcase at the Woodville Halls. They were amazing. The hard work put in by each and every one of them, the teamwork and dedication to have pulled off a routine only put together in a couple of weeks, due to the others pulling out was phenomenal. Their chaperone Danielle also mentioned how well behaved the girls were and what a pleasure it was to take care of them. They were definitely a credit to the school on Saturday night.”
The girls show cased some of their routine today in the assembly as well as the medals and trophies they were awarded. We are extremely proud of you all! I would like to thank Miss Rabbatts for taking the time to write in and would like to encourage other families to do the same if your child has participated in an activity outside of school!
Thank you all for your donations for the school fair tomorrow-it is set to be a fantastic community day and we look forward to seeing you, your family and friends enjoying the day. Gates will open from 12pm until 3pm. If you have any time to spare then help setting up, running a stall or clearing away would be welcomed!
