It is nearly harvest time and we are planning to support our local food bank again.  After the past 18 months, we have all had, combined with the now fuel and food shortages, these incredible charities desperately need the support from those that can offer it.  Living Well is an amazing organisation which aims to be a place where people feel acceptedloved and valued.  They work with communities to support people with different needs – including poverty, social isolation, mental health issues, debt and homelessness – in Penge, South East London and the surrounding areas.

This year they have asked if the fabulous community of Worsley Bridge can donate the following:

  • tinned meat
  • tinned pulses
  • tinned veg
  • jam
  • soup
  • dried pasta and
  • cereal

Please may we remind you that all donations must be alcohol and nut free. Your children may bring in the donations to the school from Monday 4 October through until the morning of Monday 11 October 2021.  After that the superwoman who is; Mrs Ingram and the incredible PTFA will ferry the donations to the Living Well centre.

We all hope you have a wonderful weekend and we look forward to welcoming you all back on Monday.
