Our first full week has spedpast and we have been having a busy time learning at Worsley Bridge and gettingback into the routines of the term.  Ithas been a week full of celebrations and achievements.

On Monday we had our first celebration assembly of the new year.  Congratulations to: Emma, Kianna, Ayla and Unal from year 3; Khaleb, Jaiden, Lily H and Sylvanna from year 4; Riley, Brane, Sydney and Caiden from year 2; Melina, Eleanor, Polly and Katie from year 5; Ela, Violet, Badru and Dontaye from year 6; Nathan, Leo, Medina and Lottie from year 1 and Sienna and _____ from reception.  You should all be very pleased at of how well you have started the new year. 

We were also very proud to give out our first set of star badges today.  Special mention needs to go to the super stars in reception who have already achieved their first red badge.  Well done to Iris, William I, Melisa, Tahlia, Clara, Maison, Joshua, Harriet, Ashlee and Nura.  What a great start to your time here at Worsley Bridge.

We have also been celebrating the successes and achievements of our children outside of the school curriculum.  Well done to Katie in year 5 who has been selected for the Bromley Youth Choir.  After a nerve-racking audition she was selected to join them.  We look forward to hearing you perform for us in singing assemblies.  Nura in reception and Millie in year 4 have been showing us their swimming certificates.  Well done ladies on starting the journey to becoming confident swimmers.  Future Rebecca Adlingtons in the making!
