Quidditch Comes to Worsley Bridge
BackQuidditch
On Tuesday 4th October, Years 2, 3 and 4 took part in a Quidditch day. The children were divided into 4 teams and a team leader was chosen.
The team leader was placed under the sorting hat so their house team could be decided: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw.
In classes, the children learnt the rules of Quidditch including the different balls used in the game. They then played matches against each other to earn points for their house.
At the end of the day, all children gathered into the assembly hall to reveal the winning house. A huge congratulations to Ravenclaw who received the Trophy! Individuals also received awards for best players in their roles.
Overall, it was a great day and the children enjoyed playing in teams and gaining points for their houses both on and off the pitch.
