Football Teams

This Monday both boys and girls football teams played against St Mark's Primary. First the girls were up and went into a 2-0 lead very quickly thanks to 2 goals from Emara Citaku, everyone thinking this could be a very high scoring game. However St Mark’s settled into the game even getting a rogue goal back. The girls remained strong and saw out a 2-1 win confirming their second win in a row.

Next the boys turn. Itching for a win, all the boys were giving it their all going into half time 0-0. Just after half time Callum Hambrook was played through for a 1 on 1 with the keeper slotting it into the bottom corner with confidence. There were plenty of opportunities for St Mark’s to draw level with a lucky deflection off the post landing in Ashlee Adam’s safe hands and another opportunity being stopped on the line. The boys played out the rest of the match confidently finishing the game with a 1-0 win and their first win of the year. Well done both teams!
