Year 6 PGL residential trip

Year 6 had an amazing time at their 3-day residential PGL trip to Marchants Hill in Surrey, last week.

The weather did not dampen their spirits as they attempted activities such as: abseiling, zipwire, trapeze, challenge course, buggy building, archery and the climbing wall. It was fabulous to watch lots of children push themselves outside their comfort zone when tackling these adventurous pursuits and gain a great sense of satisfaction when they achieved their goal. Teamwork was also a crucial element of the trip with communicating and listening being so important during the activities. 

The visit to the shop brought a great deal of excitement and the children loved sleeping in their rooms and having fun with their friends. 

We'd like to say well done to the children for making the trip so enjoyable and a big thank you to Mrs Matthews and Mrs Hardings who gave up their time to come on the visit.
